  • Covid Protocol Policy. Keep dance Alive, Keep Dancing

    24 October 2021
Let us all keep dancing. From 1/1/22 MAKING DANCE HALL SAFER Covid Policy is LFTs (Lateral Flow Tests) which are taken on the day of the dance, Thats three hours or less BEFORE DEPARTURE TO THE DANCE. You show the results on the NHS text or email prior to paying for the dance. You undertake this simple test to prove you are NEGATIVE (without Covid). LFT’s eliminate dancers who have Covid. We want to minimise the risk of Covid at dance halls. We all need to do this so we can keep dance halls open.  At the recent MJRoc Warmwell weekender, LFT’S test results prior to the event revealed a number of dancers who were POSITIVE with Covid, many had no symptoms but this was their 1st LFTs test so they were shocked with the results. They then had the PCR test and were all POSITIVE. So had those tests not been carried out, they would have taken Covid to the dance weekender. 26 out of 575 dancers booked, were found without knowledge to have Covid, so please if you want to tell us LFT’s do not work, we have facts that they do. Go to your local chemist and get your free LFTs test kit. Order online free via Gov.UK. Everyone should do these simple tests. If you have Covid, you isolate, you recover, so you can dance next time. Deal With – Manage – Dance.WEAR A FACE MASK/COVERING UP UNTIL TO CHECK IN - IN CASE SOMEONE IN THE QUEUE HAS COVID AND NO PROOF OF A NEGATIVE LATERAL FLOW TEST.
